This is the Season 2 premiere of the unacclaimed series PressConference! The first guest of the season is Camie Zamir, who is currently in her second year of graduate school at Oklahoma University.
Camie and I were both team leaders as senior corps members in the 2010-2011 City Year Los Angeles team serving at Robert Louis Stevenson Middle School in Boyle Heights. We had a lot of fun events that year (like this one) and that extended to our team outside of school as well (like this one). I don’t have the high quality experience I had in my first year out west without Camie, and I am happy that she agreed to be the first guest of the new season!
