Reviewing NFL Week 14: You can’t trust the AFC

Look at that. Longest go-ahead TD ever scored to win a game in the Super Bowl era. Congratulations to the Miami Dolphins! But really, this is what you get if you trust the New England Patriots now.

Miami Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake (32) runs for a touchdown during the second half of an NFL football game against the New England Patriots, Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, in Miami Gardens, Fla. The Dolphins defeated the Patriots 34-33. (David Santiago/Miami Herald via AP) ORG XMIT: FLMIH201

But they’re not the only AFC team that shall not be trusted. Look at the Pittsburgh Steelers!

The Steelers have lost three games in a row now, and it is never a bad time to see the Steelers struggle. K Chris Boswell has missed four kicks during the losing streak, and has missed 11 kicks total this season. Even Jeff Reed didn’t get that kind of leash when the Steelers cut him in 2009.

Oh, and the Houston Texans finally lost. Not that you all trusted the Texans in the first place.

Teams of the Week:

MIA, CLE, IND, KC
DAL, CHI, NO, SEA

Winning units:

TEN run offense (RB Derrick Henry)
NYJ offensive line (QB Sam Darnold)
CLE offensive line (QB Baker Mayfield)
GB offensive line (QB Aaron Rodgers)
IND pass defense (OLB Darius Leonard)
KC pass offense (TE Travis Kelce)
MIA offensive line (QB Ryan Tannehill)
NO pass offense (WR Michael Thomas)
NYG run offense (RB Saquon Barkley)
LAC offensive line (QB Philip Rivers)
SF pass defense (ILB Elijah Lee)
DET pass rush (CB Darius Slay)
DAL pass offense (WR Amari Cooper)
OAK special teams (K Daniel Carlson)
CHI run defense (CB Sherrick McManis)
SEA pass rush (OLB Jacob Martin)

Looking ahead to Week 15

Chargers at Kansas City: This game is currently in action, and … welcome back, Eric Berry!

Browns at Denver: This is a Saturday primetime game. Go Colts.

Patriots at Pittsburgh: I already told you not to trust the Patriots. They will lose this game on the road.

Eagles at Los Angeles Rams: The Eagles are going to miss the playoffs because they couldn’t defend the Dallas Cowboys.

Saints at Carolina: Yeah, I’ll tell you about this one later.
