I’m not going to lie … this is the part of the album where cheap stretches of “message songs” come to die.
7. The Rhythm
I originally said the track would be “something African to fall to sleep on”. Then I wrote the lyrics and it’s more of a unity song. It samples “Stickerbrush Symphony” from Donkey Kong Country 2.
Or, in other words, I tried to knock off "Prayer for the Dying" as hard as I possibly could.
