I’m going to keep this post short… there are plenty of 4,000-word sessions past and future.
I had an amazing summer. I had a great internship at the Drew League. I moved in with the lady. I finished my first summer class, which led to me finishing my masters degree at USC. I visited Boston for NABJ, but also got to see the City Year Headquarters as well. I also got to go back to San Diego and Philadelphia, while visiting Disneyland and Universal Studios.
The relationships I built all summer mean so much to me – and I am fortunate to have spent some quality time with people I have met throughout my time in Los Angeles.
This was my fifth summer in L.A. This was easily my best. It was my longest, and the one where I worked the hardest and worked the most. It has proven to be my most rewarding.
I’m sure that I’ll have more to say about the near future… but I honestly don’t have the perspective to talk about that right now. June, July, August, September: 2014 has been great. Summer was bomb. And now… summer is over.
