Self-Titled Album Track #2: Love For My Haters!

So, I didn’t go too deep into my quest to parody all rap albums ever and maybe all concept albums ever when I released “Outro/Self-Titled Album”.  Allow me to introduce “Love For My Haters!”:

2. Love For My Haters!

I originally called this “an appreciation track”. I used five different Mortal Kombat tracks on this song, one each for the introduction, the three verses, and the end. The focus of the song isn’t really on haters. I commented during Season 4 of the MADDSKILLZ Update (2006-2007) that people who always talk about their “haters” are wasting their time and energy. The way I see it, “haters” are giving me attention, so I must be doing something right! On the flipside, this track is aimed squarely at the “fake appreciators”; the ones who say they feel you but they aren’t even paying attention.

I had to make a note of spelling everything out just for the heck of it (H for this, A for that, T for something else, E… ah I’m reaching).  When I was writing these lyrics, I just found it amusing to pretend I actually cared about using “haters” as a motivating factor.  You see the irony, I’m sure.  As for the Mortal Kombat selections?

Say what you want about this track… I released this before The Blueprint 3 came out!
